Did you know that many of the houseplants around us grow on trees in their native environments?

These plants are called, “epiphytes”!

In this workshop, we’ll be creating living art with epiphytic plants!

Each workshop comes with:

• 1x choice of epiphytic plant (hoya, ferns, orchids, rhipsalis, etc.)

• 1x cork bark for mounting

• Sphagnum moss

• Fishing line

• Soil

• Sheet moss

Seed balls are not only fun to make, but our insect friends love them too!

Often filled with flower or wildflower seeds, seed balls are constructed using air dry clay, making for an easy activity that younger kiddos can enjoy.

In this propagation workshop, we will be exploring the concept of "plant propagation", or in simple terms, how to multiple your plants! 

We will walk through how to propagate, different plants you can propagate, and propagation media. 

Each workshop participant will receive: 

- Handmade propagation stand (made by Jhami!)

- Assorted plant cuttings 

- Propagation medium

We can't be the only ones itching for spring!

Join us for a relaxing evening in the workshop room as we pot succulent gardens together! Succulent gardens are a great way to transition into spring since most succulents can handle the cooler temps at night (50 degrees and up!) meaning they can live outside from springtime through early fall.

Not used to getting your hands dirty? No worries! We will walk you through how to pot up succulents, as well as sharing our best tips for optimal care.

Each participant receives:

- 7 inch Momma Pedestal Bowl with drainage 

- 6x 2-3" succulents

- Decorative soil topper (rocks, pebbles, turface, and other goodies!)

- Paired drink to sip on while you build your succulent arrangement!

Did you know paradise is right here on the sunny side of 7th street?

Stop by on March 16th anytime from 10-4PM for your kiddo to create their very own tropical garden!

We will have an assortment of decorative rocks, critters, and mushrooms for them to accessorize their garden. Don't have any potting experience? No sweat! We'll be around to assist and provide our best repotting tips.

Schools Out! 

Take your kiddos on a trip down to the sunny side of 7th street to create a "Dangerous Spring Break" terrarium. Watch out and avoid the botanical snap of the Venus Flytrap! 

We will assist and teach your little ones how to create a sustaining ecosystem for their Venus Flytrap to live in. 

Each participant receives:

- 1x Venus Flytrap plant

- 1x plastic hanging bowl terrarium 

- Decorative rocks

- Potting medium

Staghorn ferns, or platycerium, are plants that grow on trees in nature. As much as we want trees in our homes, the best we can do is try to mimic with a piece of wood!  

We'll walk you through how to mount and properly care for your platycerium!

This terrarium not only hangs, but also can be sat on a surface. It's also plastic if you're clumsy and break stuff left and right like us. Each terrarium comes with live moss, string lights, mushroom, mini hedgehog, and of course, decorative rocks! 

We heard school's out on Friday the 13th! Get your hands dirty in the workshop room and build your own spooky terrarium. 

This workshop could be the perfect introduction to your terrarium journey! We'll demonstrate how terrariums are built (for success!) as well as terrarium care. Join us for some Halloween tunes and spooky, planty fun!
