This workshop is beginner friendly, but also agreat learning experience for practicing artists. We will start by learning about watercolor materials, practice a few different watercolor techniques, and end the workshop with a final fall themed painting.

This workshop will also have a special emphasis on color mixing for fall colors!

Drawing skills are not necessary for this workshop!

You will leave with:

We'll be paintin', pottin', and talkin' about one of our favorite carnivorous plants; the infamous Venus Flytrap! Our team members will be around to help you pot your plant. Afterwards, paint your pot and take your new plant friend home!

Get ready for this extra, extra special workshop with our resident mycology guy, Josh!

This workshop will be an introduction to growing mushrooms, specifically using Lion’s Mane mushrooms. Josh will be talking all about Lion’s Mane mushrooms; how to nurture your mushroom kit, their medicinal benefits, and how to prepare them. Mushroom “spray and go” kits and instructions will be provided, as well as a non-alcoholic cocktail. Think of this as an ultimate gab-sesh about Lion's Mane mushrooms!

Since y'all loved them last time, we are bringing Venus Flytrap Terrariums BACK!

Walk-in anytime from 10-4PM on Thursday, October 17th to build a terrarium to house your carnivorous flytrap. 

Assistance will be available if you need help building your terrarium, or if you have any questions!

This event is for all ages and skill levels. 

Each participant will receive:

- 2" Venus Flytrap

- Glass fishbowl

- Peat moss 

- Little trinkets (bones, skeletons, rocks, etc.,)

It's spooky season!

Stroll on by anytime from 10-4 on Sunday, October 13th and get crafty! We will be creating Jack-O-Lanterns using terracotta pots and washable paint. All supplies will be included! 

This workshop is FREE and for all ages!

We will be demonstrating how to mount an orchid on to bark, as well as walking through the care of a mounted orchid. Dendrobium orchids are epiphytes, meaning they naturally grow on the sides of trees in the wild. You will receive your own plant and materials to create your very own mounted orchid!

This hands-on workshop is great for orchid enthusiasts or tropical plant lovers who want to explore alternative ways to growing an aroid plant.

Each participant will receive:

- 1x dendrobium orchid

- 1x cork to mount

- Fishing line, sphagnum moss, sheet moss, and all tools will be provided 

- A bevvy to quench your thirst!

Bloomapalooza will be our first ever cut flower workshop! In this workshop, we will have assorted cut flowers for you to arrange into beautiful bouquets. If you've got a nice vintage vase at home collecting dust, this is their chance to shine! If you don't happen to have a vessel, we'll have vintage glass options for purchase, and we can even show you how to wrap if you'd like a classic bouquet of flowers.

Join us for MAGICAL BLUEPRINTS with Moon Balloon and delicious treats from Two Bears Bakery!

We are so thrilled for this FREE event with our local pals. Walk in anytime from 10-12PM to create a cyanotype print with plant cuttings.

Not familiar with cyanotype printing? No sweat! The wonderful folks from Moon Balloon will be around to assist and help with any questions.

Cyanotype printing is a process in which iron compounds are exposed to UV light. The print is then washed in water to create stunning blue toned images.

We will be using plant cuttings to create our prints!

Explore the fascinating world of orchids! 

Although stunning, orchids can feel very intimidating. WE GOT YOU! This workshop is perfect for those who want to learn more about orchids; particularly how to make them thrive!

In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to repot an orchid (with the appropriate media!), orchid fertilizing, and orchid care.

Plant stakes are one of our favorite ways to accessorize a unique pot/plant arrangement! 

These plant stakes are created by molding air dry clay into unique shapes and adhering the stakes to metal skewers. We've also got paint and letter stamps for even more fun!

Did you know that air plants are epiphytic by nature? 

"Epiphytic" means to grow on other plants in their native environments! So if we were to take a trip to let's say, Florida, we would see air plants growing on trees! 

In this workshop we will demonstrate how to mount air plants onto bark, replicating how they grow in nature.

Low maintenance and compact, these open terrariums are a great addition to your houseplant collection. All you need is bright light!

These plants are called, “epiphytes”!

In this workshop, we’ll be creating living art with epiphytic plants!

Seed balls are not only fun to make, but our insect friends love them too!

Often filled with flower or wildflower seeds, seed balls are constructed using air dry clay, making for an easy activity that younger kiddos can enjoy.

Join us for a relaxing evening in the workshop room as we pot succulent gardens together! Succulent gardens are a great way to transition into spring since most succulents can handle the cooler temps at night (50 degrees and up!) meaning they can live outside from springtime through early fall.

Not used to getting your hands dirty? No worries! We will walk you through how to pot up succulents, as well as sharing our best tips for optimal care.

Each participant receives:

- 7 inch Momma Pedestal Bowl with drainage 

- 6x 2-3" succulents

- Decorative soil topper (rocks, pebbles, turface, and other goodies!)
